Brittany took this picture with her dad one week before her accident. We were taking pictures of horse farms in North Carolina and spotted this beautiful country chapel near Jordan Lake. After Brittany's death we struggled to find the right spot to bury her. When we had these pictures developed we saw this picture she took and new it was the right place.  Brittany is buried at Martha's Chapel under the large oak tree seen on the far left of her photograph.

Brittany was born June 28, 1988 in Annapolis Maryland. She died in a tragic auto accident on September 24, 2005 in Durham North Carolina. She was a senior at Green Hope High School in Cary.

Brittany enjoyed cheerleading, country music, concerts with friends, taking pictures with Dad, and days at the beach with Mom. In 17 years of life she touched many people. She will be remembered for her spirit, her smile, and her love for all. She was truly a special person that loved everyone she met and enjoyed simple pleasures in her life.

Although the love she shared with us can never be replaced, compassionate family, friends and coworkers has comforted our loss. Your support has given us the inspiration to continue with our lives. To these special people, we thank you.

So while we grieve Brittany's death, it is comforting to know that she will be remembered by many and loved by all she met.

Our Tears for You

If our tears for you could make a path,
it would be long enough to reach you in heaven.

If our tears for you could bring happiness,
our hearts would be free of sorrow.

If our tears for you could bring peace,
our country would have no wars.

If our tears for you could ease pain,
our world would have no suffering.

When We Cry For You

When we cry for you today,
It is for the memories you left behind.

When we cry for you tomorrow,
It is for the memories never to be.

Dad
